Australian Government Stimulus Payments benefiting Australian Manufacturer's and Consumers

Chris, Bob, Angie and Damien
The Prime Minister Mr. Kevin Rudd

It occurred to us that you may be interested in knowning where some of the economic stimulus payments of $900.00 per tax payer was spent.

I am almost 68 years of age and still attend my office daily as a self employed Real Estate Agent. I have worked continuously for over fifty years.

My wife Angie teaches dance exercise on a casual basis, is a practicing Celebrant and when not doing home duties, comes into our office to assist.

Our son Damien, is a second year aerial line apprentice, and last year received the Country Energy apprentice of the year award. He is also a volunteer Rural Fireman, and a motivation speaker for your people through The Rotary Youth Leadership Association.

Angie's brother Chris, and his two children live on the same small acre property. They own 50% of the property and have their own seperate home. Chris is the mechanical maintenance serviceman at Port Macquarie golf club, one son Jake attends TAFE and studies computers, whilst the other son Kody is in year 11 at high school.

The reason for my setting the above out is to show we are all contributing to the growth of Australia, and do appreciate receiving the stimulus package.

Rather than individually spend this package on minor or personnel purchases, we elected to combine the amounts which gave us the sum of $3,600.00 to spend. We added to this amount a few hundred dollars of our savings and bought a brand new AUSTRALIAN manufactured Cox ride on lawn mower from an AUSTRALIAN owned Port Macquarie mower supply. The retailer was delighted we used the stimulus to buy the mower.

Thank you Mr Prime Minister and thank you to the Australian government.
